Lada

As you venture out the doors of Moscow airport for the first time, you will notice an abundance of cars sporting the Lada tag - a brand of cars you probably haven't seen (or heard of) before.

Ladas are Russian made cars. On the roads you will see Ladas spanning many generations .. from the 1970s to the latest models. The older Ladas look like they could fall apart at any moment, but have as much character as the people who drive them. The recent models are very easy on the eye, and you will see the Lada Samara model everywhere.

Lada cars are constructed by the Russian car manufacturer AutoVAZ, whose central offices are located in Samara Oblast (province).
